The Perimeter after school program provides a structured and supportive environment for students outside of regular school hours, focusing on a combination of academic support, enrichment activities, and recreational opportunities. Below are core functions our our after school programs.

• Academic Assistance: Homework assistance and academic support is provided to all students. Trained staff members are available to help students with their homework assignments, review concepts covered in class, and provide additional instruction as needed.

• Enrichment Activities: Our afterschool offers a variety of enrichment activities designed to complement and enhance the school curriculum. These include STEM activities, arts and crafts, music lessons, language learning, and more. Enrichment activities provide students with opportunities for hands-on learning, exploration, and skill development in areas beyond the core academic subjects.

• Recreational Opportunities: PSA provide recreational opportunities for students to engage in physical activity, sports, and games. These activities promote physical fitness, teamwork, sportsmanship, and healthy lifestyles.

• Social and Emotional Support: The PSA after school programs serve as a safe and supportive environment where students can develop social and emotional skills, build relationships, and learn to navigate interpersonal dynamics. Group discussions, team-building exercises, and conflict resolution activities help students develop communication skills, empathy, and resilience.

• Nutritional Support: Snacks and meals are provided to students to ensure they have access to nutritious food during the afterschool hours. Healthy snacks and meals contribute to students' overall health and well-being, providing them with the energy they need to focus on their academic and recreational activities.

• Parent and Family Engagement: Parent involvement and communication is a huge part of our after school programs. Parent workshops, family nights, and student showcases provide opportunities for parents to engage with their child's education, connect with other families, and support the goals of the program.
